En-suite bedroom in our large country home

Most importantly - you will be living as part of our family/household. We are a couple in our 50’s, have children off at Uni and travel a lot.
Our house is large and very comfortable. We are not the cheapest place on purpose as we are offering a high quality living arrangement. We have ample space and large garden for us to share together.

You are welcome to use our communal lounge, dining room and kitchen all by negotiation with us. There are only the two of us at home and we are away a lot.

This is important: We have a very sociable female Labrador (8yrs old) who is only allowed downstairs. The ideal lodger will like dogs and would be willing to help care for her. We plan to travel substantial periods of 26/27 as we are having a grown up “gap year”. This means you will have run of our amazing home for long periods, but you will also need to be willing to feed and walk the Labrador whilst we are away. To the right lodger, this is a blessing not a bind - so have a think about that.

We are not prejudiced about age, language, nationality or orientation. However we do expect clean living, tidy, respectful people to share our home. If you are, you will find us hospitable, kind and friendly hosts.

For some reason I have to tell you it’s Council tax band F - but we pay it!
