Room to let in Washingborough

We are Ollie and Evelyn and we have a furnished room to let in Washingborough from 20th September, when our current lodger moves out.

The house has 5 bedrooms, two of which are quite small. The room we're letting out is upstairs. There is a small room next to it, which can be used as an office. We have a bedroom and toilet downstairs in a separate part of the house, but use the bathroom upstairs. Our plan is also to rent out one of the other upstairs bedrooms from mid to late October. The kitchen and living room are shared.

Before we bought the house a few months ago, the house had been lived in by an elderly couple, and some of the decor is a little dated; otherwise the house is quite comfortable.

We are friendly and relaxed. Evelyn is from Germany, and we speak English and German round the house. We both have jobs nearby; Ollie is an accountant and Evelyn a cook in a care home. We have an allotment and enjoy gardening, reading and choral singing. We are planning to get some chickens quite soon and may get a cat.

Washingborough is about three miles from Lincoln; there is a nice cycle path into town that you can join not far from the house, and the bus service is good. Mature students and home workers are welcome. Let us know if you are interested. Council tax and all other bills are included in the rent.
