Description
A lovely, large, bright, newly decorated double bedroom (3.5m x 4.5m) in a clean and quiet Victorian house in Abbey Wood, South-East London.
I am looking for a calm, clean, friendly respectful housemate, who get on well with the two existing female tenants.
ROOM: The room is bright, large and on the first floor.
It is furnished with a double bed, two large chests of drawers, a wardrobe and built-in storage.
It's a great space, with large west-facing windows looking over a very quiet residential street.
The room is in very good condition, and has recently had double-glazed windows installed for extra warmth.
HOUSE: The rest of the three-bed house is clean and well-maintained.
There is a large shared living room/dining room, and two bathrooms.
The shared bathroom for this room is on the ground floor with a walk-in shower.
On the same floor as this room there is another bedroom, and the third bedroom is on the floor above.
HOUSEMATES: Living in the house are two female tennants (one is Hungarian, one is Indian, both are mid-20-30s). Both are quiet, respectful and friendly, have full time jobs and are mostly out during the week.
KITCHEN: The kitchen has a large fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, oven/hobs, and individual food storage areas for each person.
Outside is also a garden with a patio and seating area - great in summer!
RENT: Rent is £800 per calendar month. The deposit is £500.
Rent includes:
- All bills (council tax, electricity, gas, water)
- Fast broadband
- A weekly visit by a cleaner
DURATION: The room is available for either short-term fixed term rents (minimum three months), or open-ended long-term rents.
TRANSPORT: The main transport is Elizabeth Line from Abbey Wood, which has fast routes to the Canary Wharf, the City etc. Abbey Wood mainline train station goes to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charring Cross etc.
**Abbey Wood station is 12-15 mins walk from the house - please make sure you are happy with this before arranging a viewing.**
There are also direct buses to Greenwich and Woolwich.
LOCAL AREA: The area is quiet and safe. There are some basic shops nearby (including Lidl and a large Sainsburys).
AVAILABILITY: The room will be free from 31 December
VIEWINGS: I will be starting viewings immediately, usually on weekday evenings or weekends.
Ps. If you want to check out the location and commute etc, the address is Howarth Road, SE2. Please message me with any questions! Thank you!
