This is a bit of a strange post, but hey, the UK doesn't make it easy for working parents :)

*also, disclaimer:
please note that we just moved into this house a few months ago and are still making it our style. So you probably won't have a pink room anymore, but I can't promise :)

We are offering our loft with en-suite to rent in exchange for light childcare. We have 2 wonderful girls aged 10'months and 4 years who need after school care including being taken to clubs locally and being cooked simple tea. We live in Aldersbrook, a very green area and a short bus ride or 10 minute walk from Manor Park Station, where you can find the new Elizabeth line, which takes you within 20’min to central London. It is a typical Victorian house.

We require 20 hours of childcare per week but are flexible and open to discussing an arrangement or accommodating your schedule!

One day (8am to 5pm) or two mornings (8-13)
1-2 x evenings when the children are in bed (babysitting)
2 x help putting the children to bed, supported by a parent

in return for accommodation, including water/heating/internet bills. If you require additional hours per week as a babysitter or housekeeper, we can discuss this.

The role can start in March or April 2024 and should last until July/August 2024. Please contact us with any questions as this role is quite flexible as we would love to find a great person to live in our home!
