Double room available in Zone 1 Aldgate 2 bed flat

A double room is becoming available in a 2-bed 1-bathroom Aldgate East flat (zone 1) from 29 October and I'm looking for someone to join me on a year-long tenancy agreement.

The flat is located in an ideal location with close access to Aldgate East and Aldgate Underground Stations (District, H&C, Circle and Metropolitan lines) including plenty of supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, a cinema and other local amenities. Whitechapel & Shadwell stations are also within easy walking distance (Elizabeth, Overground & DLR).

Bills:
£1000 rent
Bills usually around £130 each but will increase over winter dependent on heating used
(Exact deposit currently unconfirmed but will know when the landlord provides the contract - will not be more than 1 months rent)

The landlord requires your income to be at least equal to 2.5x the annual rent to pass referencing (so at least £30k for your half)

Your room:
The room comes unfurnished but you can buy the the mattress, bed frame and closets from the vacating tenant (can negotiate the price with them).

About me:
You'll be sharing the flat with me (Jonny). I'm an openly gay man (so looking for someone who's queer friendly), 26 years old and work in clinical trials in Canary Wharf in office Monday to Friday - I never work from home but I'm happy to share with someone who does.

Outside of work you can often catch me going to the theatre, but I also love cinema, playing badminton and gaming. I'm easy going and low maintenance and would love to live with someone similar!

As a flatmate:
I like keeping the home clean and quiet during unsociable hours, so I'm looking for someone with a similar mindset. Friends are always welcome for dinner/board games/movie night of course, but I'm not much of a drinker these days so it's not a party house.
