Description
Hi Future Flatmate,
My current flatmate is moving out at the end of November and I have enjoyed living in the flat and would like to continue staying here.
A little bit about your new home in Aldgate East.
The nearest stations are:
Aldgate East (7 mins) - Hammersmith and City, District Line
Aldgate (12 mins) - Metropolitan and Circle
Whitechapel (13 mins) - Elizabeth Line, Overground, District Line, Hammersmith and City
There’s lots to do locally: Old Spitalfields Market, Liverpool Street, Shoreditch, you name it and we’re probably 30 mins away from it.
About the apartment:
- It’s a 2 bed 1 bath
-We've done our best to make it cosy and cute!
- There are 2 double rooms (one is smaller than the other - so rent is split to cover the difference in size)
- Both rooms have South-facing windows - so lots of light!
- A bright and spacious living room (with a dining table)
- A fully-equipped kitchen
- A washing machine
- 24hr concierge
We’re on the 4th floor of an apartment complex (there is an elevator and fob key access)
Unfortunately, we aren’t allowed to have any furry friends on the property :(
General House-keeping bits:
The bills are:
Council tax : 152/pm (Band D)
Electricity: 147/pm
Wifi: 30/pm (fixed rate)
Bills are split equally
We’ll divide these equally.
Length of tenancy:
As she's moving in the middle of the tenancy, it means you'll be joining me on our original lease, which has 10 months still left. There may be an option to review for another year in September.
A little about me:
I am currently working in London for a Startup in Data Privacy, and been living in London since 2021. I’m originally from Zimbabwe but have lived all over.
I work from home 2/3 days a week from the living room (I also know some lovely co-working spaces if you’re into that sort of thing)
I’m an extrovert with introverted tendencies, which means I am more than happy to do stuff together but also have quiet days sometimes.
I’m relatively easy going so would love to live with someone similar - generally looking to hang out and get to know each other :)
I enjoy having people over and creating a space for fun memories.
Drop me a message if you think we’d be a good fit, tell me about yourself, what you do, any experience living in flatshares and what you’re hoping living together will look like!
Caveat: You’ll need to be working full-time (sorry to any students!)
Can’t wait to hear from you!
(female preferred)
