Large double room with private bathroom in Aldgate

Hiya!

Very sadly I have to move out of this charming two-bedroom flat in Aldgate East and am looking for someone to take over for me on our lease (Early to mid Nov 2024 until October 2025 with opportunity to extend). Exact move in date is flexible.

You would be living with my two lovely flatmates Anna (24) and Louisa (25) (a couple) who share the other bedroom. Louisa is a junior doctor and Anna is a Civil Servant working in the Foreign Office.

The Space:
The room is a really good size for central London and has a massive double wardrobe and lots of natural light, plus additional storage shelves. The flat is fully furnished, spacious, and well-equipped with a dishwasher, in-unit washing machine, and all other kitchen essentials. The bathroom is off the main living space but would be yours alone as the other bedroom has an en-suite. The bathroom has a shower/tub, a vanity with storage, plus additional shelving. The flat is in a building with a very friendly concierge team and gym.

Location:
The flat is in an amazing location with access to great tube links and lots of local coffee shops, restaurants and bars.
-Aldgate east station (District & Hammersmith & City): 5 minute walk
-Whitechapel station (Overground & Elizabeth line): 10 minute walk
-Aldgate station (Metropolitan & Circle line): 10 minute walk

Hello! We love cooking group dinners (we have a raclette machine!), wild swimming, anything outdoorsy 🏔️ chatting over a glass of wine, playing games, day trips etc. I (Louisa) also love baking and even somehow managed to get on to the final round of bake off auditions a few years ago! Anna enjoys running/gym, learning new languages and is totally addicted to coffee!

Lastly, here’s what Anna and Louisa are looking for in a flatmate:
We would love to live with someone with similar hobbies who we can be friends with, not just flat mates! We like to keep the flat clean and tidy, and really want it to feel like a home.
