I’m looking for a new flatmate to take the second bedroom in my lovely, modern, airy two-bed flat near Aldgate East. My previous flatmate has moved out already, so the room is available now, and the landlady is happy for someone to move in for the last month or so of our current contract, then renew for a full year after that.

The flat is in a great location within walking distance of Aldgate East (7 min), Whitechapel (10 min), and Liverpool Street (15 min) stations. Brick Lane and Spitalfields are around the corner.

The double bedroom is west-facing with large windows for plenty of natural light. The room has a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and tall mirror.

The flat is fully furnished and has all the standard appliances such as a modern electric kitchen hob, toaster, microwave, washing machine, dish washer, modern shower and separate WC.

A bit about me:
I’m Hannah (29), originally from the US, and have spent most of the last 10 years in London. I manage an academic department at a drama conservatoire and usually WFH 2–3 days a week. I spend most evenings at yoga or seeing friends, and I like to keep things pretty relaxed at home.

I love yoga, theatre, museums, reading, film, cooking, and making the most of all that London has to offer. I like to keep the flat a calm, relaxing, and peaceful space. I'm clean and respectful, and I’d like to live with someone who also values creating a warm, cosy atmosphere at home. I'm looking for someone easygoing, respectful, and independent who's up for occasionally chatting over coffee or sharing a meal.
