Double bedroom with ensuite in a modern two-bedroom apartment. The flat has a shared open-plan living and kitchen area that opens directly onto a balcony, so there’s plenty of natural light and space to relax.

The location is really convenient for getting around London and especially ideal if you work in the City:
• 15-minute walk to Aldgate East
• 10-minute walk to Shadwell
• 20-minute walk to Whitechapel

The building itself has a concierge (handy for deliveries), an on-site gym, and secure bike parking.

A bit about me: I’m 28 and work in the City for an energy company. I usually work 2–3 days from home and keep fairly standard 9–5 hours. I’ve lived with others for around five years in London (and three years before that elsewhere), so I’m very used to shared living and know how to keep things easy and respectful.

I’m friendly, laid-back, and social, but I also value a calm home environment. I enjoy having a good chat in the evenings or a shared drink now and then, but I’m equally happy doing my own thing and giving each other space.

I have a girlfriend who stays over about once a week, but other than that I don’t have regular visitors.

What I’m looking for in a flatmate:
Someone who’s easy-going, considerate, and already comfortable living with others in London. Ideally, you’re tidy in shared spaces, mindful about noise, and respectful of each other’s belongings and downtime. Not a party flat, but definitely a friendly and relaxed one where we can both feel at home.
