Description
Hello everyone!
My two lovely flatmates are moving out at the end of our tenancy (31st of March). Sierra is moving back home to the US and Jemima is moving in with a couple friends from home, so I’m looking for two girls to take over their rooms.
About me and you:
You’d be living with me, Emma, a recent graduate working in scientific publishing. I play volleyball in social league with some friends, and enjoy photography, reading, going to museums, baking and walking around London trying to find good coffee shops! ☕️
As a flat we have done some things together like going to the cinema (there’s a Curzon 🎞️ 5 mins away!) or having tea with a freshly baked cake, which is super nice and a good way to make the flat feel like a home, so I’d ideally like for the new tenants to want to maintain that vibe ✨ It’s not really a party flat, but I would be so down to host a couple a year together on special occasions :)
Importantly, I’d like to keep the flat homey and clean so I’m looking for people with the same values :) A rota would be good for this, but I’m also very big on wiping things down in the kitchen once I’m done!
About the flat:
The flat comes part-furnished with a bed and wardrobe, although I think Sierra in the smaller room would be willing to leave/sell her furniture (Jemima in the bigger room will be taking hers). The first room is slightly bigger and south facing so you get a load of natural light while the other room is slightly smaller but can comfortably fit a desk and chair :)
We have 1 full bathroom with a shower and toilet 🚿 and 1 separate toilet which is super useful 🚽 . In the morning we now have a routine for timings and we do tend to check in with each other if we’ll be in for a while so there’s never really been any issues with showering! We have a big kitchen and living room all in one and there’s even a small patio outside which I can’t wait to use again in the summer ☀️
Bills come to around 120-150 per person per month, including council tax, wifi and gas/electricity. Water is payed every 6 months.
I have my own kitchen utensils, but Sierra might be willing to leave her things if you don’t have your own.
About the area:
I really love the area! We’re ~5 mins away from a big Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local and there’s also a Tian Tian 🛒. We’re also really close to a load of restaurants like Emilia’s, Dan Dan, Mother Dough and an Urban Baristas so there’s plenty to do!
We’re a ~10 min walk from Tower Hill, Aldgate East and Shadwell and 20 mins away from Liverpool Street 🚇 I work in the city and I walk into work every day and it takes me less than 30 mins which is amazing!
About the move-in date:
The move in date would be the 1st of April but I believe the landlord will want to know and complete the references by the beginning of March. I also think it would be best for 2 professionals to move in as I moved in as a student and had some issues with completing the references and with my guarantor.
Wow! That was a super long ad but if this sounds like a good fit pop me a message and we can sort out a viewing :) Looking forward to meeting you 💕
