My name is Matteo and I am renting out a private room with ensuite bathroom as I will be travelling to Austin for a research fellowship at University of Texas. I live with my best friend Stefano, 38, graphic designer, and we are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, so you can feel safe and comfortable to be who you are in our home.
The room is part of a 2-bedroom flat (74m2) with a large open plan kitchen and living room, as well as a lovely balcony. It also includes dishwasher and washing maching. It’s on second floor of a 5-story modern building, located in a quiet but central area. In a 10-minute walk, you will reach the tube stations of Tower Hill and Aldgate East, as well as the DLR and Overground stations of Shadwell.
The connections to airports are very good. London City Airport is less than 30-minutes away by public transport and around 15-minutes away by taxi. In 15 minutes, you can walk to Liverpool Street, where train and coach services to Stansted Airport depart. The Elizabeth Line stops in Whitechapel (a stop away on the Overground) and you can get to Heathrow Airport from our property in an hour.
