Description

Hey :)

We have two rooms available from mid-November in our gorgeous top floor, 3 bedroom flat in East London.

The flat is a top floor flat and is South facing - on our massive balcony you can see the sunrise and sunset - its beautiful! The flat is a rarity in London, surrounded by kilometres of open space due to being next to a secondary school, great views of London's skyscraper skyline and also the area is very safe due to being entirely residential, with families in most nearby houses.

The kitchen and living room is open plan and we have spent the past 5 years making it into a home. All of the lighbulbs are smart bulbs, big TV and super big, super comfortable sofa. There's an island separating the kitchen, and a large cooking area.

There is a very big balcony with a stunning view and thick astroturf flooring and 2 planter boxes growing lavender and flowers. You're welcome to plant more if you wish :)

The previous two flatmates were renting the rooms on a short term basis whilst they waited for their house purchase to complete, which is why both are now available.

The rooms are on the smaller side, but fit a double bed, desk, and a small wardrobe. They have mattresses and bed frames from the previous housemates but you're of course welcome to bring yours too. The long corridor (in photos) leading to the room holds a full size double set chest of drawers for your clothes/ whatever else and there is a further metre and a half of space in the corridor to put another cabinet or whatever else you choose.

It's a 5 minute walk from Langdon Park DLR Station and you can be in Stratford/ Canary Wharf in 20 mins, and Central London in 40 mins.

I’m:

31 year old trans woman, working in the music industry doing Marketing and Artist Management and I DJ house music from time to time. I work from home most days, and occasionally go into the office.

This is a queer space. Whilst you don’t need to be queer to apply, you certainly have to be an ally :)

During the week we keep things very chill and then at the weekends very occasionally having friends over for dinners and drinks & pre-drinks, if the other flatmates are cool with it.

I work late nights on the weekends and occasionally the weekdays and come back from work late, so these rooms are not suitable for someone who needs to wake up extremely early on Saturday, Sunday or Mondays.

I'm looking for chill, tidy, mature professionals who are sociable yet respectful and looking for a home, not just a flat-share. Shared areas are kept tidy but i not militant - a home, not a show room :)

Bills are not included and come to around £140, varying slightly depending on month. This includes, Electricity, Water, Council Tax (Band C) and Internet.

I will require one month of rent as a deposit upfront and then the rent. Proof of reliable, stable income is necessary.

Thanks <3
