Double room with own bathroom in Islington

I've got a big double bedroom to rent in my flat on Essex Road in Islington. The room and the flat are lovely, and the location is great - just on the corner of cross street, 2 minutes from Upper Street and close to a large number of pubs and restaurants (hopefully opening again soon!).

Highbury & Islington and Angel tube are both about a 10 minute walk and Essex Road station is 2 minutes away. There are numerous bus routes within a few minutes’ walk, including the 38, 73, 341, 476, 19, 4, 30, 43 and 271. Transport links are excellent for when we are allowed out again.

The flat is about 90 sq metres (940 sq feet) and on two floors, so there’s lots of space - with a big living room and large, separate kitchen diner. Although it's on Essex Road, it's at the back of the building and is really quiet and peaceful. The room for rent is about 14 sq metres, with wooden floors, exposed brickwork and a nice view from the window. My own room has an en-suite so you'd have sole use of the main bathroom. The room is furnished, and has plenty of storage, there’s also quite a lot of storage in the flat generally.

As for me, I'm a pretty laid back guy from London who's into travelling, music and the usual stuff. I'm looking for someone who’s also on the laid back side, clean and tidy (but not obsessively so), who likes to do their own thing but is also up for sometimes sharing cooking, wine, pub trips, etc. I’m pretty sociable, but this isn’t a party flat, so if you’re still living like you’re a student then it won’t be for you.

Flat has all mod cons - washing machine, dishwasher, etc. All bills are included, including fibre broadband. It’s on the third floor and there's no lift, so if stairs are a problem then it probably won't be for you.

I can probably be fairly flexible on dates, so if the date doesn't suit get in touch and we can maybe work something out. Will also consider short lets.
