I am looking to let the second bedroom in my 2-bed flat, available from 23rd June.

The location
The key thing about this flat is the location - you get the best of Angel and Islington. Step outside, and you have the amenities (supermarkets, post office, DIY stores, etc.) at your fingertips. The area also has wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms and cinemas. The flat is right on Upper Street, with buses just outside and it is a 10 minute walk to either Angel tube station (Northern Line) and Highbury and Islington tube (Highbury and Islington Line) / overground station - perfect for those who want access to Hackney. Hackney Wick can be reached in just 20 minutes.

The room
The room is furnished with a double bed and has integrated shelving, a wardrobe and pretty good storage. The window faces away from the street and it has a blackout blind - it's quiet (much quieter than the master bedroom lols) so good for a top night's sleep! There is room to fit a small desk for those who wish to work from home. I have a spare desk that I can set up if you need.

The flat and location
The flat has a communal living room and kitchen. In the living room there is a TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer etc. and super fast fibre broadband (500MB). All bills, rent, cleaner etc. are included.

About your future flatmates!
I am Sophie, 32 years old and a management consultant. I do a mix of working from home and travelling to the office. My partner Tom is a musician, often out but sometimes working from the living room (very conscious about practicing, for anyone working from home!)

No particular preferences for a flatmate, just someone who would generally respect the property.
