Description
Hello there - thanks for clicking on the ad!
I am looking to let the second bedroom in my 2-bed flat, available 27th Sept.
The location
A great selling point for the flat is the location - you get the best of Angel and Islington. Step outside, and you have all the amenities (supermarkets, post office, DIY stores, etc.) at your fingertips. The area has great restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms, cinemas, theatres. The flat is right on Upper Street, with buses just outside. 10 minute walk to either Angel tube station (Northern Line) and Highbury and Islington tube (Highbury and Islington Line) / overground station - with good access to Hackney. Hackney Wick can be reached in 20 minutes. Soho too!
The room
The room is furnished with a double bed and has integrated shelving, a wardrobe and good storage. The window faces away from the street and has a blackout blind - it's quiet, so good for a top night's sleep. I have a small desk that can be set up in the room if you would like to work from home.
The flat and location
The flat has a communal living room and kitchen. In the living room there is a TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, BBC iPlayer etc. and super fast fibre broadband (500MB). All bills including electricity, gas, water, broadband, TV license, buildings insurance, cleaning, council tax, management fee, communal parts cleaning, etc. are included.
About your future flatmates!
I am Sophie, 33 years old and a strategy consultant. I do a mix of working from home and travelling to the office. My partner Tom also lives in the flat and is a musician (saxophone). He sometimes recording bits in the living room.
I'm around for viewings this weekend (30th, 31st) and next (6th, 7th Sept).
Please note that some major works will be taking place (renovation of the floor) in the flat at some point between Dec-Feb. These are expected to last for 2-3 weeks and it might mean we will likely need to move out temporarily. I will of course keep you fully in the loop as this situation progresses but just giving an early heads-up. Of course you would not be charged for this period if we did need to move out (or I would give a discount for disruptions).
Please let me know if you have any questions - more than happy to help!
