Hi, I’m Parissa, and I’m looking for a female lodger for the spare double-room in our two-bedroom flat that I share with my boyfriend Jonathan. We're both 28 years old, and we both work full-time in technology consulting, working from home roughly 3-4 days per week.
We're looking to rent out the room for roughly 1 month in the new year (any time from 10/02/2025), but can be somewhat flexible with stay duration!
I’m looking for a like-minded young professional who I can get along with, but is respectful of personal space and treats the flat with the same respect. Work will be my primary focus, but I’d love someone I can have a chat with too!
A bit more about the flat and the area:
- Fully equipped and recently refurbished kitchen with oven, gas hob, air-fryer, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, toaster
- Stunning bright double bedroom with ample under-bed storage, large wardrobe (with storage above), desk, shelves, cupboard
- Shared bathroom with rainfall shower (with separate attachment head) and under-floor heating
- Large living room with mounted mirror, 4K Smart TV, games consoles, and vinyl record player
- Gas central heating
- 5-minute walk to large M&S, Waitrose, Oseyo, Sainsbury’s
- 8-minute walk to Angel station on the Northern Line, or 13-minute walk to King’s Cross/St Pancras
- Very close to Regent’s Canal, where a lovely short walk will take you to Granary Square and Coal Drop’s Yard - canal is beautiful for morning runs!
- 7-minute walk to Upper Street with fantastic restaurants, bars, music and live comedy venues
Monthly rent for the room is £1,300 – which includes ALL of the (shared) bills, including council tax (band C), gas, electricity, water, TV license, internet, service charge.
We’re looking to secure someone for 1 month in the new year - we can be somewhat flexible with the duration of your stay, but aren't considering anything too long-term (3 months+ won't be considered).
This listing isn’t suitable for couples – also no smokers (cigarettes or other) or pets. It’s a 4th floor flat, and sadly no lift – so not suitable if you have accessibility requirements.
