A bright, quiet double bedroom in a modern flat (built in the last 10 years) with an excellent location, a 10-15 min walk to Angel (along the scenic canal!) and less than 10 min walk to Old Street.

I have been living in this flat for almost 4 years and have nothing, but great things to say about the location, price, condition of the flat, and flatmates - this place is a gem! I would stay if I were not leaving London for business school in the US.

You will be sharing the flat with two friendly, professional gals in their mid to late 20s who are the kindest people I have ever met, let alone tidy, respectful, and caring.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, desk (and computer monitor if you wish), bedside table, shelving unit and storage bins, dresser, mirrors, and hamper.

You would be sharing the bathroom with a clean and considerate flatmate, who is very friendly and conscientious. Our other flatmate has her own separate bathroom in her ensuite bedroom.

The communal space includes a kitchen with all the classic appliances (fridge, freezer, hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer) and a living room with a couch, TV, and coffee table. We have a balcony situated off of the living room that overlooks communal greenspace accessible to all tenants and the canal - this is a wonderful sunny spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book. The current flatmates will sometimes cook in the evenings or weekends and watch TV in the living room and welcome company, but also respect each others space and privacy and need for some quality alone time.

With a 10-15 min walk to Camden passage and Upper Street in Angel and 10-15 minute walk to Shoreditch, the location of this flat is ideal for exploring London by foot, tube, or train. There are tons of restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops a short walk away.

Bills are not included in the listing price, but you can expect all bills (internet, utilities, and council tax) to come to ~£100/month.

I am looking for someone to take over my place on the lease, ideally 16 May - 31 August, but I can be flexible on the start (i. e. 01 Jun - 31 Aug).
