Islington - room in two bed flat 🤍

Looking for a new flatmate to move into a lovely two bedroom flat in Islington! The room is available from 23rd September. Flat is on Essex Road, lots of shops & good transport links, walking distance to Highbury, Angel, Canonbury & Dalston/Hackney.

It’s the smaller room in the flat — £980 + bills (around £150ish each). Total deposit is £1211.50 & the period between 23rd September–12th October would be a pro-rata sublet. You can move in later if needed, but rent would need to be covered from 23rd September, and you’d officially join the tenancy from 13th October (rent due date). You’ll need to pass referencing through the agency (£30k+). There is also a £50 name change fee which would be split.

The flat came unfurnished - I have furnished the shared areas (as pictured - welcome to add your own touch). The current flatmate is also happy to sell on some of her furniture if wanted, which, would work out at £400 for the bed, mattress, wardrobe & chest of drawers. There are also some additional items she’d be happy to sell, which can be discussed separately. The flat also gets loads of sunlight throughout.

Ideally looking for another girl in her mid-to-late twenties who values cleanliness, respects shared spaces and is considerate of the person they live with. I’d love for us to have a nice balance - I’m can be up for a movie night or dinner together, but equally happy doing our own thing and having our own lives.

A bit about me: I’m 25, an Islington girly through and through, and work in Finance in the City, and in the office 5 days a week. Outside of work I love spending time with friends, getting a Pilates class in, but also really value my downtime and a cosy night in 🤍
