Bright double room by Regent’s Canal – Old Street

I’m renting out a double bedroom in a calm, bright duplex flat overlooking Regent’s Canal. The flat is in a secure, gated development with a porter and is genuinely peaceful, despite being very central. This is a quiet, respectful home rather than a party flat.

Location
The flat is directly in front of Regent’s Canal and very well connected. It’s a 12-minute walk to Old Street, 14 minutes to Angel, and around 7 minutes to the Barbican and the City of London. Supermarkets, cafés and all local amenities are within easy walking distance.

The flat
This is a duplex apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and you would only be sharing with me. The bedrooms are on the first floor, while the open-plan kitchen and living room are on the ground floor. Both levels have lovely views over the canal and surrounding green space.

Outdoor space & extras
There is a private garden at the front of the flat, and the area is very quiet. The development is gated and has a porter. We also have a canoe, which you’re welcome to use if you’d like to canoe on Regent’s Canal.

Who I’m looking for
I’m ideally looking for a female lodger, but I’m open to the right person. Working professionals only, please (no students). I’m looking for someone clean, considerate, and respectful of a peaceful home environment.
