Massive Islington Room tenancy takeover

The Room

Massive bedroom/essentially a studio on the top floor of an Islington townhouse. The room is big enough for sofa, desk and double bed with plenty of room for storage. The room is west facing so received plenty of light in the afternoon and evenings, with great sunsets in the summer from the top floor.

The room will come MAINLY UNFURNISHED but open to negotiate any items should you want them.

The Flat

The apartment is over 3 floors, the first floor is the communal living spaces- large living room and kitchen. The second floor has two bedrooms across the hall from one another and the top floor has two bedrooms across the hall. There are two bathrooms which will be shared between 4 people. A cleaner comes every two weeks.

The Flatmates

You will be sharing the flat with two creative girls (30’) and a guy (20’s) finishing his masters. Everyone is super friendly and hang out together in the evenings but appreciate quiet. This is not a party flat but a place of relaxation.

The Situation

I am looking for someone to takeover my lease from APRIL 2026. The lease ends in September but landlord has confirmed he would renew. I have lived here for 6 years and it has been fantastic. The room will come mainly unfurnished but open to offers if you really want something. I will also be taking some items in the communal space which I own but also open to negotiating.
