A flat by the canal in Angel

Hi there! Looking for a new flatmate in Angel moving in date 15th of July!

My flatmate is moving out and I am looking for the replacement.

The flat has the most amazing location between Angel (13 min) and Old street Stations (15 min) (N1). It is a 10 minute walk from Tesco and High street of Angel. The flat is looking out on the canal from every window so it is super quiet and you will definitely have some good sleep here. We have concierge at the entrance so the building is super safe and your packages won’t get lost.

The room comes unfurnished!!! The room fits a double bed, the desk and has a built in wardrobe. Perhaps my current flatmate would be open to leaving/selling some of her furniture. Some of the furniture from the pictures will go so if you are moving with furniture we can definitely fit some in the living room. In the meantime I already started buying replacement furniture, so we can choose stuff together. We got new oven and washing machine installed this month, there is also a dishwasher and full sized fridge +freezer.

Right now we still have some scaffolding looking out from kitchen windows, once it’s gone the rent gets higher. Realistically though, the construction has been here since last year and was supposed to be done in December 2024. There isn’t much noise from it anymore as they are just working on the top of the building.

Essentials to know:

Rent: £1102,5/month goes up to £1170/month after scaffolding is gone

Bills and utilities: approx £160/month

Moving in date: 15th of July

I am 28 yo, currently looking for a new role so I’m often at home. I like pottery, baking and discovering new cocktail bars around London with my mates. I am a gym goer and art enthusiast and always down to watch a show together.

I have a cat (see pics) so preferably I would like someone who is good with animals and doesn’t have allergies!
