Description
Available from 2 August until October.
We have been living here for two years but my flatmate finished his foundation training and is moving to Oxford for a specialty NHS job.
I am a young professional working a demanding corporate job. I’m rarely around during the day and only work from home on a Friday. I’m very sociable but don’t really host social gatherings in the flat despite having a spacious lounge and lovely balcony.
The shared spaces are spacious - the lounge has lots of space and the balcony is wonderful over summer. Lots of natural light.
The room for rent is cozy but doesn’t have space for a desk, which may be an issue if you intend to work from home. That said you can set yourself up upstairs in the lounge if needed, I’m happy with that. Rent is adjusted for this.
The landlord is wonderful and we have a great relationship with him.
I’m quite clean and even then I’m not around too much so things are usually tidy.
Don’t have house rules as such, I’m quite chilled, but here’s a few things:
1. Don’t mind you hosting people as long as we talk about it beforehand and everything is cleaned afterwards
2. Don’t mind you having your partner over as long as you’re not taking over all shared spaces over the weekend
3. Would prefer a young professional with a stable income - never missed rental payments and don’t have to worry about any of it.
Bills and council tax are around £80 and £100 pcm respectively.
If I missed anything please do ask :)
