Double room in 2-bed flat - parking space - garden

A double room within a bright and airy 2-bedroom flat with a live-in landlord.

A 3.5m x 3.5m double bedroom with a standard double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and a desk. The flat has 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen diner, with the landlord (27y/o, male) living in the flat as well. It is on the top floor (2nd floor), has skylights in all of the rooms and has a bright and airy feel. There is an off-street parking space for your exclusive use, and a large shared garden.

The flat has excellent public transport connections into central London. It is a 7 minute walk from New Southgate station (National Rail - 26 mins to Moorgate and 18 mins to Farringdon); 14 minute walk from Arnos Grove station (Piccadilly Line, Zone 4); a 9 minute walk from the number 43 bus terminus (24-hour bus to London Bridge); and a 4 minute walk from an SL1 bus stop (express bus to North Finchley and Walthamstow).

The landlord is a 27 year old male engineer working in central London. I typically leave for work at 07:15 and return at around 19:00. I sometimes work from home, and am often out during the evenings playing sport, for drinks or with my parents. I enjoy cooking, reading, playing tennis, volleyball and football, and going to art galleries. I also love travelling the world with my girlfriend.

I am looking for a flatmate who enjoys their own space. Preferably, they will have a similar schedule to me so we won't disturb each other in the mornings. Of course, they should always keep the kitchen and bathroom clean and tidy, and voluntarily contribute to communal cleaning. Friends and overnight guests welcome (within reason), but no parties. You will be able to expect the same from me. It would also be great to have someone to share recipes with, occasionally eat dinner with, and a tennis/ volleyball/ running buddy!
