Double Room

Hello prospective housemate!

Available is a double room with a large built in wardrobe, bed (currently single but a double fits no problem if you want to bring one), drawers, & desk. The room has wifi, central heating, double glazing, & window blinds. (No smoking in the house.)

The house was redecorated last year, and the kitchen replaced this year.

We have free parking if you drive. Otherwise, Arnos Grove tube station (Piccadilly line) is a 5 minute bus ride or a 20 minute walk away. It's just half an hour into central London. New Southgate overground train station is a similar distance. Totteridge and Whetstone (Northern line) is also a short bus away, and a night bus from central stops a 10 minute walk away.

Included is rent, council tax, and internet. Consumable bills (gas, electric, water) are extra (usually £75, more if you're a high energy user).

Generally it's a calm & relaxed household and neighbourhood. I try to be environmentally friendly, energy conscious, recycle, etc. so it would be nice to have someone with the same sort of mind-set. Looking for someone who works daytime and is respectful of quiet at night. Everyone cleans up after themselves and keeps their belongings in their own allocated areas; communal areas have allocated spaces for each housemate to make that easy to accomplish.

There is no access to the garden from this room, but it backs onto a park so this room has green views. We are surrounded by parks for walks; the one directly behind the house, plus another within 5 minutes walk, and 2 more a little further walk.
