Double room in Highbury

We’re looking for someone to replace our housemate who is moving in with her boyfriend!

The flat is a large ex council flat in Highbury. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 bath/shower room, separate toilet, good sized kitchen & large combined living/dining room. It is on the top (7th) floor of the block, there is a lift and we have a balcony with amazing views that span from central London to Alexandra Palace. We also have access to the large communal gardens.

The available room has an east facing window (so gets lots of natural light), comes unfurnished and would suit a small/standard double bed. (In the photos it is a standard double). There is some built in storage in the room, with extra closet space accessed from the hallway.
There is residents parking available and external bike stores provided for free by the council.
Arsenal tube station is a 7 minute walk away; Finsbury Park Station & Canonbury Overground are within 15 mins; Highbury & Islington Station is a little further - but still within reasonable walking distance.
As well as Overground & Underground connections we are very well connected by buses to King's Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, and Waterloo just minutes away.

We are both professionals and have lived together for 5+ years, 4 of which have been in this flat! We tend to spend a few evenings a week in the living room together - watching shows/films, sharing meals and chatting - though obviously enjoy our own space too! We’re clean and tidy, sharing the general household chores between us on a weekly basis, and are looking for someone independent who’d be happy to be part of a household.

Since COVID-19 we’ve been using the dining table in the living room as our office space for shared home working so that no-one ends up too stuck in their own room! Both of us are now back at work.
Given the current situation we are conscious that different people have different concerns & boundaries right now and we're happy to organise video calls / virtual viewings - hopefully saving you & us from any additional travel & contact concerns!

The room is available from Oct 28th for £670, bills are not included and currently come to £95pcm.
