Double room with own bathroom Arsenal

Looking for a new flat mate to move into a good sized double room with its own bathroom in a modern and well maintained purpose built flat in Arsenal.

The flat is on a residential road a short walk from multiple great areas for hanging out: Blackhorse Road, Highbury Barn, Highbury Fields (all less than 10 minutes walk), Holloway Road (10 minutes walk), Upper Street / Islington (15-20 minutes walk), Finsbury Park (20 minutes walk) and Angel (35 minutes walk).

It also has great transport links; it’s about 6-7 minutes walk from Arsenal Tube Station (Piccadilly Line), 8 minutes walk from Holloway Road Tube Station (Piccadilly Line), and 15 minute walk from Highbury & Islington Tube Station (Victoria Line & Overground). It is also a 3 minute walk from Drayton Park Train Station (the great northern line which is great for getting to places like Highbury & Islington, Essex Road (Angel), Old Street, Moorgate and Alexandra Palace).

You’ll have a good sized double bedroom furnished with bed, mattress, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, 2 x bedside tables. You’ll also have your own bathroom; this is separate to the bedroom across the corridor but will be yours only (the other bedroom has an en-suite within it).

The kitchen / living room area is also very well furnished and a great place to chill out with very comfortable sofas, a good TV and a great dining / cooking space. There are lots of plants and it is a cosy place to relax.

There is also a nice balcony with a lovely tree.

You’ll be living with Oliver, an excellent flat mate who is very friendly, active and tidy. Oliver is in his mid-thirties and was born in France to English parents and so is like a British person but a bit classier. He loves rowing, cycling, cooking and watching movies, and is a great person to hang out with. I am honestly very sad to be leaving him and this flat!

Rent is currently £1,175 per month (total for the flat is £2,350), which I believe will stay the same for the next 12 months. This is a great deal for the size and area based on what I’ve seen!

Bills are around £250 a month (including a fortnightly cleaner). The heating very rarely goes on as the flat is naturally cosy.

Deposit TBC but I believe it will be around £1,300.

You’ll need to also pass the letting agent’s checks but those are usually fairly routine.
