Hi! I’m moving in with my partner in the coming weeks, so my lovely large double room in Highbury will be available, and I’m looking for someone to take over the tenancy.

The room is generously sized and comes furnished with a brand-new double bed frame and new mattress, a new wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. There’s plenty of space to add things like work desks and TV setups, making it ideal if you work from home. The room is on the first floor and faces the back garden, so it gets great natural light, stays cosy, and is nice and quiet.

The house itself is fully furnished and well looked after, with a large lounge, garden, kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, and extra storage in the basement. It’s on a very quiet street, just a 2-minute walk from Arsenal Station (Piccadilly line), with the Victoria line and Overground around a 10-minute walk away. There are loads of great cafés, pubs, and restaurants nearby – the location and transport links really are fantastic.

You’ll be living with Jack, Grace and Donagh (two guys and a girl), all in their late 20s to early 30s. Everyone works a mix of home and office days. It’s a friendly, sociable house – happy to share a beer or BBQ now and then – but everyone also has their own routines and social lives. We’re considering any gender for the room to keep a mix in the house!
