Green Park and on to Buckingham Palace is just down the Street. The fabulous shops of Mayfair are just out the door. A wonderful walk would be down Clarges Street to Piccadilly, through Green Park to Buckingham Palace and on through St James’s Park to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Westminster Pier on the River Thames. Some of the best shops in London are in the neighborhood of this property: Old Bond, Philip Mould on Dover Street, tie shops on Maddox Street, clothing on Saville Row, and the most fabulous jewels on Albemarle Street and New Bond Street. GREEN PARK TUBE STATION is just at the end of the Road–on the Piccadilly Line, the most central line in London. It could not be better located. This wonderful Mayfair vacation rental is located on the first floor of a period building at the top of Clarges Street, just off Charles Street and has easy access to all the amenities around Berkeley Square: groceries, banking, fine art shops, and excellent clubs and restaurants. My favorite Middle Eastern snack bar is just around the corner, and when I am hungry for spicy food, that’s where I go. This is one of the best neighborhoods of London.
