We have a lovely double room available in our house share in Balham. Open to singles or couples, the room is available from 9th November.

The room comes furnished with a double bed, mattress and loads of wardrobe storage space.

The house itself is on a quiet residential street between Balham and Streatham Hill, and has great transport links and buses into the city. We are 5/ 10 mins from Streatham Hill Station, and a 15/ 20 minute walk from Balham underground and train station. We have a lovely garden and are literally round the corner from Tooting Common, so great for lockdown life!

The house has 3 double bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, 2 small toilets and a big kitchen/ diner/ lounge room. We have a drive way, so there's free off-street parking. We also have a small box room that we use for guests/ drying our washing, but would be open to any new tenants using it as a home office if they are working from home. Extra storage space is available in our loft and shed.

You would be sharing with 2 couples professional couples who both moved in a year ago. Our ideal flatmate/s will enjoy watching bake off and occasionally having a few margs and belting out some kate bush. We are a friendly and sociable house, but equally totally respect each others space and privacy.

The house is owned by our great live out landlord, who's really easy going and lets us feel at home.

The room is £1000 per month, which includes bills and council tax, and broadband is around £10 per month. The price is the same for singles and couples.
