Spacious double bedroom in Balham/ Tooting Bec

Hi there,

My housemate Cally and I are looking for someone to move into our lovely three bed flat in Balham for three months as our current housemate is moving in with her boyfriend. The room will be available from 3rd September - 3rd December.

The room is a spacious double with high ceilings, furnished with a double bed, large chest of drawers, bedside table and wardrobe. The room comfortably fits a desk and chair for working from home, but there's also space to work from the dining room table in our large, bright living room when you fancy a change of scene.

Rooms are spread over two floors with a bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, living room and three bedrooms. We're really lucky to live on a gorgeous road, seconds away from Milk’s second cafe/ bakery which has just opened (and there’s an award-winning bakery next door to that!). We're a five minute walk away from Tooting Common which is perfect for a run, lunch time walk in the sunshine, or a swim in the lido! Tesco, Aldi, Sainsbury's and Waitrose are all within walking distance. We have discounted Sky broadband and free Sky TV as I work for Sky!

Tooting Bec tube station (northern line) is a five minute walk away, and Balham tube and overground station is an 8 minute walk away.

Cally (28) is a Nurse at St George’s and Emily (31) works in digital marketing. Cally works shifts and I spend three days a week in the office.

In our free time we both enjoy trying new restaurants, going to gigs, playing sport and cooking. We're in and out of the flat quite a lot, but would love to find a friendly housemate who'd like to grab a drink after work, watch TV on a chilled evening and have the occasional house meal together.
