Large, bright room in iconic Balham building

I am going to be leaving my spacious double bedroom at the end of October, due to a change in personal circumstances. It is extremely bright due to windows which span across a whole wall. It has been a wonderful quiet and safe place to live so I’ll be sad to leave.

The room is unfurnished, but it comes with the wardrobes. I’m open to selling the tall set of IKEA drawers, if the next tenant would like them.

It is 4 minute walk to Balham tube & train station, with access to the Northern line and overground into Victoria.

Hot water and heating are included in the rent. The rest of the bills are usually £50 per month (internet, energy and council tax). Water is extra and paid twice yearly.

We also have a cleaner who comes weekly so the house is always clean and tidy. We take it in turns to pay, so it’s £35 every 4 weeks.

You’ll be sharing the bathroom with 2 others (1 other room has its own en-suite).

I will be arranging viewings with the current housemates, so you can meet everyone.
