Description

A very quiet, bright, double room in an artist's house, overlooking the rear garden and very calming..... Comfy double bed, plenty of storage space/hanging space, pine window shutters for maximum blackout/sleeping, massive mirror to reflect more light, writing/laptop desk and chair available if required. All you can see when you look out of the bedroom window are the trees and the garden, with school playing fields behind that so very private.....Also my painting studio tucked away at the end of there garden.

The house is a lovingly restored 1920's home with many original features, beautiful wooden pine floors boards, gas central heating, fast Wifi, big screen TV. The large, clean kitchen/diner is fully equipped with microwave, washing machine, etc, ALL bills are included.

The house has established and well-maintained front and rear gardens, creatively landscaped by yours truly, full of wildlife, ornamental ponds & a fountain! Benches to sit and relax in the summer months listening to the birds and the water trickling into the ponds....Bliss!

Partners can stay over for the odd visit of course, but obviously not every night/weekend. Please note the room is for one person only, no couples.

I am very open-minded and happy to rent to anyone as long as they are decent, happy and respectful people, and most importantly, clean & tidy :-) Ideally I'd like to share with a professional person who works away during the day.
There is a cleaner (sometimes me, if the cleaner cannot make it due to her family commitments ) who comes every 2 weeks and cleans the communal areas. Your room is your business, just return it as you found it.
Please note I have added to the murals on the walls in the bedroom seen on the video... I don't do minimalism .:-)

This house is a sociable home and not just rooms filled with cheap and nasty rental furniture....It is full of original paintings and interesting objects from my many travels abroad.

I have been renting rooms for a few years and everyone who has lived here loves the place. We are close to all the shops, an ancient beautiful wooded park and a short stroll to Fairlop station. Approx. 25 mins to Liverpool St. on the Central line. The house is very safe and secure, the garden gate is always locked and the gardens are nicely lit during the evening. .

I have been a full-time artist for over 25 years, working from my small studio at the end of the rear garden. The house is very cosy and has a very sociable, welcoming atmosphere. My girlfriend (and her very quiet/cute doggie) stays over once in a while.

Below is a quote from Sophia, who left after 2 and a bit years:

"Aw Tony! End of an era! It's been an incredible 2 years and I will miss living in the house so much! That's for being an amazing landlord and also a great friend! Please keep in touch and come round to the new house for dinner!"

Please feel free to contact me through Spareroom messenger/mobile to arrange a viewing. Tell me as much as you can about yourself, this is important as it saves a lot of time. I am looking for the right person to fit in.
Happy viewing and thanks for looking at my ad :-)

I look forward to hearing from you.

Tony.
