Double room in Barnes

Hi everyone

We have a double room available for rent in our second storey, three bed flat in Barnes. There are three of us (one couple, so 4 people in total will be in flat), all professionals (architect, PA, account manager)

The flat is in a early 20th century mansion block in Barnes. We have a great pub across the road and Barnes has a fab village-y feel to it (butcher, baker, grocer, fishmonger and fromagerie. A park, pond and common is around the corner (plus a bunch more pubs), the river and a small M&S and Sainsburys. We are a short bus ride to Hammersmith tube station (Piccadilly, District, Ham & City lines) or to Barnes station (train into Waterloo in 20 min).

Our flat has a separate kitchen and living room. We are quite socialable and would love someone who is happy to have the occasional wine after work and natter in the kitchen. We are quite long-term tenants, 17 years, 10 years, 7 years so a nice and stable! We have a cleaner to do the common areas, but a clean & tidy person preferable. The room is a double and mostly unfurnished although a bed frame, mattress and bookcase are available if needed. It is being freshly painted as I type with new curtains put in (yay!)

No garden or roof terrace but there is a Juliet balcony and I have lots of window boxes to make it look green and flowery (plus herbs in the kitchen). We tend to sort our own thing out for dinner but occasionally we will do a roast and happily include the flat. We also drive to a bigger supermarket or costco and happily bring flatties along!
