An intelligent, educated and ‘with it’ older gentleman with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. He would also like some general practical help around the home such as shopping, cooking up to four or five meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom, shared use of the bathroom and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in an excellent location less than 10 minutes’ walk from Barnes Station (regular trains to Clapham Junction and Waterloo in one direction, and to Richmond the other direction).

A retired solicitor, he has always been very independent and takes an interest in the news and politics, interesting discussions, reading, music and sport.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
