Description
Hello!
The flat is a lovely two-bed, and is a 7 minute walk to both Barnes and Barnes bridge station. At the end of the road, just a 1 minute walk away, is Barnes common, and opposite the common there is a farmers market every Saturday (see photos).
If you don’t know Barnes, it feels like a village with an abundance of parks and forest in all directions, as well as as a lovely high street. You can easily forget you’re in central London!
The flat has a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room which gets lots of sunlight, and has a sofa bed should you wish to have guests stay over occasionally.
Great transport links, trains into Waterloo, Vauxhall or Clapham Junction within 20 minutes, and 15 minute bus ride to Putney tube, as well as night buses.
Some extras:
- I ‘m happy to consider a dog or a cat
- I’m planning to install new blinds/curtains in the room soon
- Bills are not included so account for roughly an extra £150 a month on top of rent
- You will have the flat to yourself from time to time if I’m away working or visiting my wife who currently lives in Copenhagen
- Parking is available
- The room has a double bed, chest of drawers and built in wardrobes. You’re welcome to bring a desk/I can help you get one (I’m happy to collect in my car)
A bit about me: I’m a 31 year old professional working in the arts. I love film and theatre, as well as keeping active by running, going to the gym or playing football. I want to start playing Padel this year! Ideally I’d like to live with someone that is respectful of quiet time and is fairly tidy, but would also be up for a hangout/chat and the occasional trip to the pub, local cinema or some other social activity. I’m a very chill, open minded and easy going person.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Reece :)
