Description

Hello! I was renting for years myself so I know the position you are in, please let me know if you have any questions I want to make this as smooth for you as possible and best of luck with your search. (And sorry if I don’t reply, lots of messages).
The flat is a lovely two-bed, and is a 6 minute walk to both Barnes and Barnes bridge station equally. At the end of the tree lined road, about a 10 second walk, is Barnes Common, and every Saturday there is a farmers market (see photos). The flat has a shared living room which gets lots of sunlight, and has a sofa-bed should you like to have guests stay over occasionally.
If you don’t know Barnes, it feels like a village with an abundance of parks and forests in all directions, as well as a beautiful high street, you can easily forget you’re in central London. I’ve lived all over London and can say with certainty I’ll never be leaving Barnes.
Great transport links, trains into Waterloo within 20 minutes, and 15 minute bus ride to Putney tube for example, as well as night buses.

I am happy to consider a dog/cat. I love them!
All bills included.
You will have the flat to yourself from time to time if I’m away working.
Parking available.
Not photographed but there is also space for a desk in the bedroom.
It’s a dead end road so is generally very quiet and peaceful, and we have a private patio/small garden directly outside the building door. It’s a first floor flat.
A bit about me: I’m a 31 year old professional working in the arts. I love film and theatre, meditation, as well as keeping active by running, going to the gym, playing football or being involved in a number of creative or active things. Ideally I’d like to live with someone that is respectful of quiet time and is fairly tidy, but would also be up for a chat and the occasional trip to the pub or some other social activity. I’m a very chill, open minded and easy going person.

The room has a double bed, chest of drawers, and built in wardrobes. If you wish, I can replace the curtains in the photo and can install black out blinds (I’ve been meaning to get around to it anyway). Because it’s my home and I’m handy around the house I like to keep things well maintained and looked after, so I pride myself on being a great landlord. You can happily go for a coffee with my existing flatmate to ask about what I’m like to live with. He doesn’t want to move out but has to for work reasons, I’ll be sad to see him go.

Reference checks will be carried out and proof of employment will be required. There will be a contract.
I don’t mind you smoking outside the flat, never inside, and always ‘bin it don’t fling it’ please.

Reece :)
