This is my home, and I am looking for someone friendly, considerate and professional who will enjoy and respect the space. The apartment is around 1,050 sq ft and arranged over 2.5 floors, with high ceilings, windows on three sides and a calm, elegant feel throughout.
It has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and would suit someone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained home rather than a party house.
The room
The available room is a lovely double bedroom, newly decorated and furnished, with excellent storage, including two hanging cupboards and eight drawers.
You would have your own bathroom. There is also a separate main bathroom in the flat with a beautiful freestanding bath.
The flat
The flat has two reception rooms: one is east facing, light, bright and airy, and the other is west facing with more of a cosy members’ club feel, perfect for reading, relaxing or watching television.
There is a lovely eat-in kitchen which seats six, with built-in appliances, a washer-dryer and plenty of storage. There are two fridges, so you would have your own fridge and a drawer of freezer space.
High-speed broadband is included.
A real highlight is the stunning communal garden, with lots of lovely places to sit. It is ideal for coffee, reading or enjoying a quiet moment outside.
The location
The flat is in a beautiful part of Barnes, just a few steps from the river and Hammersmith Bridge. You have all the amenities of Hammersmith just across the river, including transport links, shops, restaurants and Riverside Studios. Barnes Village is around a 15-minute walk away, with lovely local shops, pubs, cafés, a cinema and a wonderful Saturday market opposite Barnes Green.
It is a peaceful, village-like location while still being very well connected.

I am a female live-in owner and mostly work from home. I enjoy cooking, river walks and a calm, comfortable home environment.
A Monday-to-Friday lodger would be ideal, although I am open to the right full-time person. The room would suit someone who is mostly office-based during the week.
