Description

Two professionals, male and female (Tom and Camilla). We are looking for another professional to join us in our home (sorry no students or couples).

We are looking for someone tidy, considerate and sociable so it’s a home and not just a house.

||| About the flat:

The flat is a spacious 1920/30's build, three-bed 2nd floor flat with a balcony with views over the Thames.

The flat is unfurnished (bar a bed included in each room) but time has been taken to fill the communal areas of the flat ourselves to make it homely. So we like to make sure we look after everything and keep clean and tidy for everyone to enjoy the space. House plants welcome.

The flat had the electrics redone two years ago with everything redecorated. The living room was been redecorated in 2022.

THE AVAILABLE BEDROOM: The room is a double bedroom with the large window looking out of the front of the property.
Whilst the flat is unfurnished, the bedroom does come with double bed with mattress. Four LED spotlight ceiling lights and window roller blind.

THE LOUNGE: This is a great large communal area that we have filled ourselves with a 3 seater sofa. Coffee table, 55" smart TV, 4 seater dining table and cosy rug.

THE KITCHEN: Electic fan oven with 4 gas hobs. Tall Fridge/Freezer. Washer/tumbledryer, Dishwasher.

THE BATHROOM: Large shared bathroom with toilet, hand basin, bath, shower over bath and storage shelves.

THE BALCONY: Good sized balcony overlooking the high street and Thames. Great place for a cup of coffee or even a G&T in the evening.

COMMUNAL GARDEN: There is a communal garden at the front of the property which is technically maintained by building management but our lovely neighbour takes great pride in ensuring the flowers and shrubbery always look beautiful. They are lucky to have really lovely neighbours throughout the building (12 flats in total over 4 storeys).

||| Bills and rent:

Rent is £800/month each payable on the last day of the month.

Bills included: Council tax, Internet, Water, Electricity and Gas. Rent also includes communal purchase of items such as cleaning products; dishwasher tablets, dish soap, hand soap, loo roll etc - we try to bulk buy to keep costs lower.

||| Transport and the area:

3 minute walk to Barnes Bridge Station which is 10 mins into Clapham Junction and 19 mins into Waterloo with trains running every 15 minutes. You will also only a 10 minute walk to Barnes Station which has a more regular service. It is a 10/15 min bus to Richmond or Putney Bridge (District Line). Whilst Hammersmith Bridge is closed, Hammersmith is a 40 minute walk or 25 minute bus (usually only 10/15 mins with Bridge open).

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Barnes village with an M&S and Sainsbury's less than a minute walk, as well as multiple independent shops, and charity shops. A highlight is the weekly farmers market on a Saturday. The flat is also close to Richmond Park and have several fantastic pubs within stumbling distance.
