Hello!
My flatmate is moving out in July to live with his lovely girlfriend and I am on the lookout for a new flatmate.
Room available: huge double room with a large double bed, double wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Current flatmate easily set up his desk to work from home - plus his own extra bits of furniture and rugs, this is how big the room is!
Shared areas: one big bright bathroom with shower and bathtub, big kitchen with washing machine/dryer and dishwasher, separate living room with sofa and tv. We also have some extra storage space, but you won't even need it - did I mention your room is huge?
Location: ridiculously close to Upper Street, we are 10mins from both Highbury and Islington station (Victoria, Overground) and Angel (Northern). Plus plenty of bus connections.
The area is pretty and leafy and you have easy access to the many beautiful small parks Barnsbury has to offer.
Flatmate: myself! Laura, 30, I've spent almost 7 years in the UK. You'll find me working from home in the living room since my room is nice and cosy, but quite tiny (unlike yours, it only fits the bed!) and soon I'll be starting my conversion course to law.
Vibe: I love this flat, it feels homey and cosy, so I hope to find someone who likes it that way. I am not the type who needs to constantly socialise and I like doing my own thing, but since it'll be just the 2 of us, it'll be nice to find someone who likes a chat over dinner, a board game or a bit of netflix.
Bills: around £100 per person, but can be less depending mostly on gas/electricity.
Landlord: we are renting directly from him and I consider myself very lucky! This used to be his home and he likes to take care of it - he lives not too far away and is always very prompt if we need any help. Recently we had a new oven and new windows put it, so things are looking good!
All that I am looking for is the best fit for the flat, if you think this could be for you, get in touch :)
