Description
Hello lovely people, this amazing spacious double in a two-bed flat right by Battersea Park has become available as I’ve decided to buy my own place!
About the property: A cosy Victorian conversion two-bed flat situated just off the south side of Battersea Park. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a large living room, spacious kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a large cellar for storage and a sizeable patio area which will be great for barbecues and drinks when the lovely summer weather is back again. There are decent transport links, with the Battersea Power Station tube (and the Power Station itself!) about a 12-15 min walk away, Clapham Junction being either a 7 min bus or 20 minute walk away and plenty of other bus/overground links to main areas such as Clapham / Balham / Chelsea etc.
About the room: A lovely room situated at the front of the flat at the opposite end of the flat to the other bedroom. The room does come unfurnished, however there are two large built in double wardrobes with plenty of storage space, with plenty more space in the cellar if you need it.
About the flatmate: Nina is 26 and she’s absolutely lovely - I’m sad to be leaving her! She works in consulting, and is into her fitness in her spare time. She otherwise is very friendly and is equally up for spending quality flatmate time together and giving each other our own time and space.
About you: Ideally within a similar age bracket, and a working professional. Nina has no particular preference on gender (she has lived with both guys and girls in the past)! Looking for all the flatmate personality clichés - but most importantly looking for someone to be friends with rather than ships passing in the night. Ideally you’d be working from the office and looking for a longer term let.
About the tenancy: The tenancy is subjective to my property purchase completion date, which should be the first week of Jan 2026 - this could happen earlier, and I’m currently aiming to move out on 9th Jan 2026. Bills each month will approximately be (each) £150 for energy, water, council tax and internet (speedy package at 500mbps). There will be a £50 charge for the change of name on the tenancy agreement and you will have to pass a reference check.
If you’ve read this far and you’re interested / have any more questions / would like to arrange a viewing, drop me a message beginning with the word POTATO - please include a bit about yourself including age, profession, interests, what you’re looking for in terms of a flatmate / tenancy etc.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Jonny
