Description
One double room available from 1st August, just a 5-minute walk from Battersea Park (the nicest in the city!) and 15–20 minutes walk from Clapham Junction. There are buses right outside that connect to South Kensington/Victoria/Piccadilly/Brixton, so getting around is a breeze.
The house is situated in a quiet block. It has two bathrooms (1 with a shower/bath), a shared living room, and a sizable garden with a lockable shed for bikes etc. The room is cozy and well-lit, furnished with a double bed and various bits and bobs. Council tax is included in the monthly rent price, but bills/broadband are not. The landlord has just finished putting in a new kitchen and
carpets.
About us/who we're looking for:
We are three professionals, all between the age of 29- 32. Jono, a civil servant, and Matt, a copy-writer, are brothers and have been living in the property for around five years. Conor is a teacher and has been in the flat since February. He also has THREE CATS, so you must be okay with our furry feline friends! Two of us work from home 2-3 days a week, and are looking for a relaxed, cleanly housemate who is broadly independent, but also keen to watch through the occasional TV show or movie, drink the occasional pint, or - if we're really looking to get crazy - play the occasional game of Catan. We're not partiers by any means, but do like to celebrate birthdays and the like with bigger gatherings when the mood strikes! All genders are more than welcome.
Pets:
We currently live with three lovely cats: Isabelle, Winnie and Buddy. They are all very friendly and love having people around the house. We aren’t looking for somebody with pets as three is enough!
More about the area:
The house is west of Battersea Park, which is a lovely, quiet (for London) area. It's right by pretty much every supermarket, with a brand new Tesco Express a 1-minute walk away. There are multiple gyms within a 15-minute walk, and, as mentioned above, Clapham Junction (which is a major hub) is a similar distance away. There is a Santander bike dock right outside, as well as ample e-bikes (Lime, Forest, etc).
It's truly a wonderful area to live: relaxed but well-connected, with lots of nature on the doorstep. We all go for daily walks/runs around the park and along the river, as they are literally right outside.
We're happy to answer any questions, and look forward to hearing from you!
