Description
Looking for someone to take the entire flat at 3,100pm from mid Nov to March with possible extension to 01 May and beyond.
My close friends and housemates (a couple) are moving back to Australia in mid-November. At the same time I'm heading home to New Zealand for 4 months. This means my entire river view flat is available! The flat is a stunning spot situated in Battersea with large lounge views of a very pretty part of the Thames. We’re only a 15 minute walk from Clapham Junction (the best commuter station in London in my opinion!) or a 20 minute bus ride to Victoria (bus is right outside). We’re in a secure riverfront, gated apartment complex with a porter and shared garden space. With a very large separate kitchen, balcony overlooking the Thames two very decent sized double bedrooms and a luxury bathroom, this flat would be ideal for a professional couple who work from home some days but also needs an easy commute elsewhere. By London standards it's very well priced. The area is very safe, banks on to the picturesque Battersea Square, has lots to do (cafes, restaurants, pubs etc) and is incredibly well connected and of course the flat itself is amazing. Battersea park is a 15 minute walk and Chelsea across the bridge takes about the same amount of time too.
The flat itself is modern, a 1960s build, and because it's connected to a building complex it has shared boiler and water systems meaning we rarely have issues with heating, water and all the other major things you need in a flat!
Ideally I'm looking for a couple to take over the entire flat (both rooms) till about March of next year, at which point I'll return and re-take my room and live with you. The lease itself runs out in May next year but the landlords have indicated they will roll the lease over for me, so ideally we get along as housemates and roll over the lease at that point :). I'm also flexible if this arrangement doesn't work and a couple want's the whole flat until May - can do that as well. If a solo person also has the budget more than happy to consider that as well!
I’m a good mix of social and private, so definitely up for drinks and dinners as well as respecting your quiet time and space too. I’ve been in London 11 years and have many friends so those looking for new people to meet in London, I’ve got a great network you can connect with!
