My partner and I are moving out of our wonderful 2-bedroom, 1-bath house that we’ve been renting just off of Battersea park for the past year due to new job opportunities overseas. We’ve absolutely loved our stay, and as such have offered to help our landlord find great new tenants to take over from us.

The house benefits from plenty of natural light, split level, has a big open eat-in kitchen on the lower floor with direct access to a private wild garden that gets direct sunlight almost all year round. The upstairs contains 2 sizeable bedrooms, a lovely lounge with full wall bookcase, and a bathroom with sky light. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and the property has plenty of storage. It’s semi-detached so has very minimal noise and the neighbours are lovely. Generally the area is very quiet and residential and the garden during the summer is a real oasis from the busy city life.

We’d be looking for £2400 a month + bills/council tax with 1 month deposit. The house comes part furnished including two double beds, a sofa, and a dining table. But this can be negotiated. Ideally, our landlord is looking for professionals, non-sharers, and preferably a couple, non-smoking.

Move in date would be end of June/beginning of July.

One to note, our landlord shares the garden in the sense that he helps with the upkeep of it and ensures it’s taken care of. He also has his home office in a side-section of the property (with entirely separate entrance) that he uses intermittently throughout the week to work from. He’s a very friendly landlord and super helpful if there’s anything that needs doing. Only reason for mentioning this on the ad is that if you are someone that prefers no landlord contact/very minimal interaction, this place probably won’t be for you as he does enjoy the occasional chit chat and catch-up if paths cross 😊
