Update: apologies to those who have shown interest and I haven’t got back to. The flat I was moving to has now fallen through so it’s likely I’ll have to pull the ad, but will be in touch if not.
Big double room with large ensuite available in Battersea from around 22 July (TBC and will confirm shortly). Rent is £1162 and that includes all bills + a fortnightly cleaner. £1062 is rent and we each put in £100 per month to cover all bills which never goes over.
The house is a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom with big living room and kitchen and a small outdoor courtyard. Savills does the admin but we deal directly with the landlord who is super responsive if there are any issues (we've got a brand new fridge and dishwasher in the last few months).
Located in a great spot being 12 mins walk from Clapham Junction station, plenty of 24/7 buses a few mins walk away, and a 10 min bus from the power station for the northern line. Basically everything you need is a short walk away with 5 mins to Battersea Park, Sainsburys, Tesco, several different pubs, a whole bunch of cafes/restaurants, and a little bit further to a big ASDA and Waitrose/M&S.
The room is large double with a big ensuite and plenty of natural light. It’s on the top floor at the back of the house. There’s room for a desk to work from home and it’s big enough that it doesn’t feel crammed. Room is unfurnished however there is potential to buy some of the furniture off me if needed.
You would be living with 3 chilled and friendly guys (English and Scottish) in their early 30s who are always up for a chat and looking for someone of a similar age. You’d be signing onto the lease for 12 months with the lads and would need to pass the standard reference checks with Savills which is £50, plus have a min salary of around £32k.
