Description

A fully furnished spacious double room near Battersea and the American Embassy. No deposit required. The property is on the third floor with two working elevators and a little entrance lobby.

ROOM: The room is a large double room, furnished with a bed, wardrobe, mirror and cupboard. It has a massive window which looks towards the new American Embassy building and some trees. It has high ceilings and all new plugs, lights and paint. The room is large enough to change the layout of the furniture, differently than as on the video and there is a lot of potential in making it homey.

FLAT: The flat has a very big livingroom with a couch, dinner-table, coffee-table, rug, a tv console, side table and lamps. The livingroom-kitchen is open plan with a peninsula kitchen layout made out of marble. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, a new stove and all new appliances as well as a nespresso coffee machine. There are plenty of pans, plates, cups and cutlery already in the flat. There is also a balcony attached to the livingroom. The bathroom is newly made with a big mirror and a bathtub. There is also a big storage space (rare for London flats) and a separate room dedicated for boiler and washer / dryer. The windows are double glazed and soundproof and are occasionally cleaned from the outside.

ADDITIONALS / AMENITIES: A free Gym is included at only 2min walk from the flat! For which you only need to book a one-time health-and-safety session for £35 and then you can use the gym 24/7 for free. There is also a roof-terrace open to every resident of the building, as well as a bike garage behind locked door. There are a few bars and coffee shops very nearby but Battersea and Chelsea are a walk away and places such as Shoreditch / Clapham / Soho are an average tube ride away. There is a big Waitrose 5min away and a massive Sainsbury's 10min away.

TUBE: The flat is 5min away from Nine Elms Station, 10min from Vauxhall and Battersea Power Station tube stations. You are also 3-4min away from the famous/infamous sky pool, which you can access if you happen to make friends with residents from that building hahaha.

ABOUT ME: I am half-Italian half-Greek and grew up in Germany, I am currently doing my conversion course in Law (PgDL), but I previously studied and worked in Psychology. I keep busy with uni, work, some personal projects (such as sewing, event/concert photography and learning Arabic) but I am very outgoing person and thrive on meeting friends out.

NEW FLATMATE PREFERENCE: My previous flatmate and I found this flat under-market and have fallen in love with it. Unfortunately, he is moving out in September and I am looking for someone to take his room. Would love to get a flatmate, who is comfortable sharing the space with me, such as watching movies on the projector, cooking and occasionally having friends over, but the room is far enough to benefit from its own privacy.

- Bills are not included and all together (exp. council tax) are around £75/80 per person (however, this is a rough estimate as Gas/Heating is pay-as-you-go and before understanding the thermostat we paid more than this)
