🌟 Looking for a Flatmate in Battersea! 🌟
Hello! Due to my job relocating, I’m looking for someone to take over my spot in our lovely two-bedroom flat in the heart of Battersea. If you’re searching for a cosy, well-connected home with plenty of charm, this could be the perfect place for you!
The Flat:
This flat is a true gem, offering a bright double bedroom with ample built-in storage and plenty of work-from-home space if needed. The communal areas include a large dine-in kitchen, complete with a built-in wine rack for your favourite bottles. We also have a separate, cosy living room where you can unwind after a long day. Plus, you’ll love the outdoor terrace, which gets plenty of sunshine and offers a fantastic view of the Battersea Park fireworks! 🥂🎆
Location:
Our flat is in a prime spot, within walking distance to Battersea Park, the Power Station, and a variety of charming pubs and coffee shops. I highly recommend trying Nostos for your morning coffee or the Pear Tree for weekend brunch! Whether you’re a nature lover, foodie, or just enjoy exploring the vibrant neighbourhood, there’s something for everyone here. With excellent transport links (Northern line, trains, overground and buses), getting around London is a breeze.
Your New Flatmate:
You’ll be sharing the flat with Charlotte, a friendly and easy-going professional in her 30s. She works in a hybrid role, spending three days a week in the office. Charlotte is sociable and enjoys a good chat, but also values personal space and quiet time, so you’ll have the perfect balance of company and independence.
A Quick Note:
We’re currently enjoying a rent reduction from £865 to £721 due to a leak we had in the living room, caused by renovation work upstairs. Rest assured, this doesn’t affect the use of the living space or any other room in the flat. The landlord is actively working on fixing the cosmetic damage to the ceiling, so it’ll be back to perfect in no time!
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re hoping to find a female flatmate at a similar stage in life who is friendly, tidy, and enjoys a balance of socialising and downtime. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Details:
Available: 28th September, or as soon as reference checks are completed.
Rent: £865 (currently reduced to £721)
Estimated Monthly Bills: £150 (Council Tax Band D)
Deposit: £998
Lease: Until June 2025, with the possibility of extending.
