We’re looking for a new flatmate for our lovely and bright flat in Battersea/clapham starting contract on 1st October 2024.
The room itself has a double bed, freestanding wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with plenty of floor space. You would only share a bathroom with one other (Cat). We have a large and bright living/dining space, the kitchen is a good size with a reasonably new fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and has a breakfast bar. We also have the terrace which is great for chilled summer nights and BBQs.
The flat is a great area for green space, transport links, restaurants and bars on the end of Battersea/start of Clapham. The flat is a 30second walk to Clapham Common and 15mins to Battersea Park. We’re about 10min walk to Clapham junction and a 5min bus to Clapham Common station. Recently had a new boiler and double glazed windows put in. We have a good relationship with the landlord which really helps on anything that needs done. The contract is for an initial 6 months with the possibility to renew in April. Bills are around £130 a month in the winter for gas, electric, Sky and council tax.
You would be sharing with Abbie (27) and Cat (29). Abbie has lived in the flat for over 4 years and is an event manager. Abbie likes theatre evenings, travelling and can be found most Sundays flicking between NFL and F1. Cat has lived in the flat for 2 years and is a genetic counsellor. Nearly always game for a night out and a lover of travel, pub quizzes and reality TV. We both work hybrid between home and the office.
The flat has very much become our home and we welcome for the future flatmate to make it theirs too, so we’re looking for someone who is respectful of the flat and will keep it clean. Ideally someone who is social but respectful of when people want their alone time
