Hey guys - I'm looking to rent out a room in my flat on Emu Road.
About flat: Flat is a ground floor flat with a garden on one of the quiet side streets off Queenstown Road (i. e. the diamond). Pretty close to bus and trains, and also Northern line at Battersea Power Station or Clapham Common. There's a Santander bike dock literally 50m away, so you can get to those stations and parks (Battersea Park, Clapham Common) within c.5mins.
It's a 2 bed flat, with living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a nice patio garden. There's a table and a decent bike shed in the garden for your bike. Again, it's quite quiet and having the garden to open windows and doors into makes it probably a bit nicer than flats on Queenstown Road itself.
There is also a pretty friendly cat for what it's worth.
Photos hopefully show it's all in a good state and well looked after. It's mostly been repainted etc in the past month.
About room: You'll have the slightly bigger back room, which is a double, is fully furnished and has pretty decent storage (built in two storey wardrobe and shelves). It looks out into the garden and has dual-opening windows so you can open it up. Will repaint before you move in.
No problem if you want to work from home a bit. Desk can fit in bedroom or living room, and we can move furniture around to suit. Have community fibre and mesh routers across rooms, so WiFi pretty quick and reliable.
About me: 28 years old guy, works at a payments company (wfh twice a week), and spends evenings and weekends trying to play lots of sport (mostly cricket and hockey). Pretty relaxed so hoping for someone similar to move in. Have been living here for 5 years now, as tenant until earlier this year. Have enjoyed with previous flatmates for 1 year and 4 years respectively.

Rent details etc: £950 per month, £950 deposit, bills expected to be about £100-120 pm. Very happy to put together agreement as 3 months with the defaults to a rolling contract, so you keep lots of flexibility in case rooms in your mates' flat turns up etc! Room is free to go from next week (post a paint) so hopefully can be useful for someone who is looking for a nice place soon!
