Double Room Available in Battersea

Hi! I am Shreya - a female professional living in a lovely 3 bedroom flat in Battersea, just by the river. I share this flat with Maria and the two of us are looking for someone to join us in the flat, as our 3rd flatmate is moving out soon.

The flat is a beautiful space on the 10th floor of a new residential block of 3 buildings, with amazing views of the city’s skyline (especially at night when it’s all lit up!). The room in question has a view of Thames (as we are just by the river). The room is not an en-suite but you would be sharing a bathroom with only me (Maria has her own bathroom). There is a spacious wardrobe in the room with space for a vanity and a work desk too. There is also a closet by the front door where you can store coats, gears, extra stuff etc.

It is a very airy and bright flat, with a balcony where in the warmer months it’s so lovely to sit out and enjoy a cup of tea in Maria’s case, and a mug of hot chocolate in my case!

There is a 24 hour concierge service in the main building, a gym and a WFH space - all included in the rent. The bills vary but are typically around £100ish per month. The property is agency managed (they manage all flats in the three buildings) so they are super quick with any repairs, diligent with compliance checks etc. The flat comes furnished with most utensils and furnishings provided.

There is a Co-Op two minutes away, with two Tescos also nearby (10 mins) and a big Sainsbury across the river. Clapham Junction is a 10 min walk with Lidl and Asda two mins away from the station as well. There is also a bus stop right outside the apartment (less than a minute) which would take you straight to Victoria, Earl’s Court and Notting Hill and other connected routes.

Maria and I are both professionals, with her working in project management and strategy and me working in finance. We are looking for someone similar to us in age (I am 25 and Maria is 32), with whom we’d love to socialise whilst also be completely respectful of their space!

Between us, we enjoy music (I have a record player set up in the living room and I am steadily building up my vinyl collection!), watching TV after work, going out on weekends to check out different markets, CATS (not the musical but the animal haha), theatre (I am making it my mission to watch all west end long-running plays by end of this year), reading, creative writing, going to the gym etc.
