My name is Ben, I own a flat on the Battersea Bridge Road.
It is bright and airy maisonette apartment on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a modern block of flats.
The apartment consists of (on the ground floor) a cloakroom, hallway, kitchen and shared sitting room. On the top floor are three bedrooms (2 doubles and a single) and a shared bathroom. The shared sitting room can be used as a home office, particularly by the person in the single room.
There are two lodgers in the flat occupying the double rooms. The lead tenant is called Barney. He is 28 years old and is very easy-going. The other tenant, Kiaran, is in his mid-twenties and is also easy-going. The room I am looking to fill is a single room (furnished). The price quoted excludes bills; Barney arranges these and they will be shared equally between the three sharers. A cleaner cleans the common parts for two hours every other week, and the tenants share this cost too.
