Room in 2 bed. Near Battersea Park, Clapham Common

I am looking for a new flat mate to share my two bedroom flat in Battersea, as my current flat mate is leaving London.

I would prefer a female flatmate simply because I have only lived with women in various flat and house shares since early 2019 and I'm at an age where I would prefer to continue that way.

The location is amazing. It's a 10 minute walk from the stunning Battersea Park right next to the Thames. And a similar distance to Clapham Common and Clapham Old Town.

The flat is equidistant to Clapham Common tube station and Battersea Power station tube (15 mins walk each way). It's even closer to Queenstown Road station (7 mins) and Battersea Park station (10 mins).

I can honestly say it's one of the nicest homes I've had in 9 years in London and easily the best location. The street is extremely quiet with limited traffic.

The rent is £2,500 per calendar month, i. e. £1,250 each for two people sharing.

Council tax is pretty cheap as it's in the Wandsworth area. Total bills per month (council tax, broadband, water and energy) come to about £125 each per month based on two sharing, though are subject to change.

The room will be available on 17 August, however there is some flexibility.

A bit about me....

I am a 36-year-old freelance TV news producer from south Wales originally.

Interests include: F1, international rugby, football (watch most sports); walking, cycling, running, playing sport (tag rugby / tennis). I also play the piano (have an electric one, with headphones!), enjoy socialising, a good TV series.... the usual!
